PCST competes at Winter meet

PENSACOLA - The Panama City Swim Team participated in the Greater Pensacola Aquatic Club Winter Invitational held Jan. 16-18 at the University of West Florida. More than 20 teams and 620 swimmers competed. PCST was represented by Brandon Crain, Kevin Faulhaber, Michael Faulhaber, Laura Kearns, Mary McDermott, Sarah McDermott, Carlee McDonald, Jamie McDonald, Kyle Olstad, Kate Rogers, Eve Schnell, Brielle Seaman, Chet Seaman and Sierra Seaman.

Marianna nips Cottondale

MARIANNA - Willie Thomas and Cedric Toombs scored 18 points apiece to help the Bulldogs stave off Cottondale 60-58 in boys basketball action on Tuesday. Marianna (20-5) plays at Port St. Joe on Friday.

Bay JV finishes with one loss

PANAMA CITY -

Justin Ward scored 13 points and James Wright added 12 for the Bay junior varsity boys basketball team in a 48-46 victory over visiting Port St. Joe on Tuesday. The Tornadoes finished the season 19-1 and unbeaten in four county games. They were also undefeated in contests against district opponents.
